6-15 Comparison Matrix

Narrator: A comparison and decision matrix is a tool to help the commander compare several COAs against one another and choose one for execution. The comparison and decision matrix provides the commander with an understanding of the relative merit of each course of action and aids in the decision-making process. This matrix presents the results of that comparison with relative simplicity. Information collected to complete a comparison and decision matrix can take several forms.
